Terms of Service

1. AI legal information, not legal advice

LibraJusta's on-screen and phone "attorneys" are artificial-intelligence avatars that draw on the knowledge of experienced legal professionals. They are not licensed attorneys, LibraJusta is not a law firm, and nothing provided through the service is legal advice. Using the service does not create an attorney-client relationship, and conversations are not confidential or privileged. Do not share secrets, Social Security numbers, or account numbers. For advice about your situation, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

2. Use of conversations to train and improve our models

Unless you opt out, you grant LibraJusta a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, store, and analyze your conversations with the avatars, including transcripts and audio recordings, to train, evaluate, and improve our AI models and services.

3. How to opt out of training

Opting out applies to conversations from that point on and, on request, to earlier conversations that have not yet been used for training.

4. Voice prints and biometric data (opt-in only)

We do not create or use voice prints or other biometric identifiers unless you give separate, explicit, written consent by checking the "I consent to voice-print (biometric) processing" box. This consent is optional and is not required to use the service. We will tell you the specific purpose before collection, never sell or disclose biometric data except as required by law, and protect it with reasonable security.

Retention and deletion: biometric templates are permanently destroyed when the purpose of collection has been fulfilled, when you withdraw consent, or within one (1) year of your last interaction with LibraJusta, whichever comes first (and never later than any limit imposed by applicable law, such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, the EU/UK GDPR, or Israel's Protection of Privacy Law). You may withdraw consent at any time by unchecking the box or emailing privacy@librajusta.com.

4a. Voice login (optional, opt-in)

If you choose to enable voice login, your voice print and related voice information are used solely to give you an easier way to log in, by verifying that it is you at login. Voice login is enabled only by checking the voice-print consent box; by enabling voice login you agree to this processing. Consent is never implied merely by using the service.

5. Memberships

Memberships provide access to AI legal-information conversations for the time allotted to your tier. They are not retainers and do not purchase legal representation.

6. No guarantees; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee any outcome or the accuracy or completeness of information provided. To the extent permitted by law, LibraJusta is not liable for decisions made in reliance on the service.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date will be posted here. Questions: privacy@librajusta.com [to be created].
