How we use your data
This draft is currently available in English only; translations will follow after attorney review.
1. AI legal information, not legal advice
LibraJusta's "attorneys" are artificial-intelligence avatars. They are not licensed attorneys, LibraJusta is not a law firm, and nothing provided is legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created, and conversations are not confidential or privileged. Please do not share Social Security numbers, account numbers, or secrets.
2. Conversations and model training
Unless you opt out, your conversations with the avatars (transcripts and related conversation data) may be used in perpetuity to train, evaluate, and improve our AI models and services, as described in section 2 of the Terms of Service.
How to opt out:
- Check "Don't use my conversations for training" at the bottom of any LibraJusta page. The choice is saved in your browser and sent with every conversation you start.
- Say "I opt out" to the avatar during a conversation, in any supported language.
- Email our privacy contact (section 8).
Opting out applies from that point on and, on request, to earlier conversations not yet used for training.
3. Voice print for login (opt-in only)
- Voice login is optional and used only to make logging in easier. It is enabled only if you check the voice-print consent box.
- We do not store audio recordings for voice login. We keep only an encrypted numeric voice template, retained until you delete it or withdraw consent (and never longer than the retention limits in the Terms or applicable law).
- The voice template is never used for training and never sold.
4. Login and security signals
To protect your account, we use signals such as your phone number, device characteristics, IP address, and approximate location as risk signals when you log in. These help us detect unusual activity; they are not used for advertising.
5. Optional identity verification
If automated login cannot confirm it's you, you may choose to verify your identity by a short live video call or by uploading a government-issued ID through a secure upload. This is optional. Requests are reviewed by a person, typically within 2–24 hours, and you will be notified of the outcome. TODO: retention period for verification files to be set by counsel.
6. Keeping legal information current
Each business day, LibraJusta updates its legal knowledge from official and public sources (for example, published court opinions, the Federal Register, the U.S. Code, and federal regulations). We do not ingest blogs, law-firm marketing, or unofficial summaries. This information may still be incomplete or out of date; always confirm with a licensed attorney before acting.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We use service providers (for example, for voice processing and hosting) under contract, and may disclose data where required by law. TODO: list of processors to be finalized.
8. Deletion and contact
You may ask us to delete your account data, conversation data not yet used for training, or your voice template at any time. Privacy contact: TODO: privacy contact address to be created.
